Joining the club could not be easier
Membership application forms (click above) are also located in the café and bar areas and should you not as yet know any members café or bar staff will be able to point you in the direction of some current members in order to propose and second the application form.
Once the form is received you will be invited to attend a ‘membership interview’ whereby you meet with the Club Handicap Committee and the Club Captain. The interview is an informal procedure at which more specific details about the club are explained along with any questions that you yourself might wish to ask. You will be required to produce two current scorecards in order that the Committee are able to assess your current ability and give you an indication of your likely handicap.
Your membership then goes before the clubs Executive Committee for acceptance, at this point the membership fee becomes payable and you become a fully- fledged member of Risebridge Golf Club.
The next stage is to submit three cards in order to obtain your handicap. These cards are from rounds which must take place from the Competition Tee and be marked by another member of the club. Once all three cards have been submitted the Handicap Secretary will issue you with your official CONGU handicap which will enable you to be able to play at any other course in the country and take part in any external competitions that you might wish to enter.
